Yoga and What We Practice
Yoga has its roots in ancient Indian culture but its body of knowledge is universal and timeless. With the pace of modern life increasing out of sight, yoga equips us physically, mentally and spiritually to deal with daily challenges and has the potential to set us free, unveiling the greater vision of our lives.
Yoga will work you from head to toe, bones to skin, bringing oxygenated blood to the cells of the body. It will stimulate your organs, glands and balance out the body’s systems. It will open and lubricate your joints, lengthening and strengthening your muscles, ligaments and tendons. The intense sweat will purify your body by helping to eliminate toxins, while the meditative practice of stillness will calm and centre you, bringing together mind and body.
We offer two different styles of yoga that complement one another in their approach to body and mind conditioning. Whether you stick to one or mix them up is down to personal taste and what you want to achieve. Whatever the style of yoga you choose, a sustained practice will be life changing. We are also launching prenatal yoga every Tuesday lunch time and Sunday afternoon from August.
